Condolences
So sorry to hear of Ray's passing. He and my father, Ed Lang, were so much fun to listen to when they got together. Rest in peace, Ray.
Jenn, Lora and Lisa (and the rest of the Ganslen Family), We are so sorry for your loss and we will be praying for you. The pictures on Facebook are precious. We are sure you all have loving memories of Raymond and we hope these memories can help you during this difficult time. Love, Sharyn, Michael, Michael Jr., Dylan and Megan
I've been Lora's best friend since 4th grade in Farmingdale, I have many memories of spending time with her family growing up. Mr Ganslen was a talented bowler; he was patient teacher but surely didn't let us win! He was the trusted chauffer for family trips: whenever I went along, I always was last to arrive with way too much luggage. However, Mr Ganslen just gave my suitcases a glance, unloaded half of what was already in there, and then repacked it all just perfectly; again quite a talent. One year when we all stayed at the new home of Lora & Rich in MD, they kept the home rather cool & wouldn't turn up the heat. I have a picture somewhere of Mr Ganslen holding a bowl of ice-cubes under the thermostate in hopes it would trip on the heat! His quirky sense of humor always surprised me as I'm sure it did others. He will be missed; my Sympathy to the family for his loss.
