My deepest sympathy to Amity's family, Kathy and her extended ARC family. I have very fond memories working with Amity at the ARC Work Opportunity Center. I fondly remember her determination, her spunk, sense of humor and our shared love of a good thunder storm. I know she will be missed by everyone who knew her. Jill Socha

Dear Amity

You were loved and you will be missed. I can hear you calling my name whenever you caught sight of me. The group home was quiet yesterday without you there. Over time we created a good bye ritual that you insisted we perform whenever I left. We linked pinkies on our right hand and we said "friends forever and ever" and you always added "Amen". Perhaps it was a prayer :-)
