Condolences
The death of a loved one can be a very challenging time for everyone in the family. Coping with a loss is difficult and at times overwhelming. For many Gods word is a source of encouragement. While I dont know your family I have experienced losing a loved one in death and relying on the hope the Bible offers has helped. For instance Phillipians 4:13 gives us the strength to continue enduring. We also have the hope of the resurrection found at John 5:28,29. I sincerely hope that these scriptures help you in your times of sorrow.
Gram....... I miss you already. Funny how many things remind me of you. EVERYTHING does! You have been in my life for over 35 years, so every memory I have includes you! You would have been very pleased with your service! It was just beautiful. We played Elvis Presley for you and even Lawrence Welk! All of your children and each and every grandchild was with you during your last week here with us. I know you would of appreciated that. You brought us all together again, just like you always do. I hope to hear from you in some way, shape or form, sooner than later. I love you so much........
Dear Shirley, You will always hold a special place in my heart. You were a very special lady and in addition to being a fantastic mother and grandmother, you were a wonderful mother-in-law and ex-mother-in-law. However, best of all, we were "the best of friends". I will always remember the wonderful Christmas Eve parties at your house and the special way you played "Santa". You were always in a good mood, smiling, and never a bad word about anyone. You definitely helped to make this world a better place. I will miss you but will always keep you close in thoughts and prayers. God definintely blessed you. Love, Donna

There once lived a lady named Shirley, Who's warm Southern graces were girly. She was sweet as a button, But, was tough -- she took nuthin'. And you'd see her in town if up early. Sweet so sweet, like honey from bees - Her soft singing voice, like the breeze through the trees. And with home-loved cornbread, she could set you at ease. You'd see her heartbreak if you didn't ask, "Please." You fought long and hard, Gram, like a champ to the end. You weren't just my grandma, you were my bestest friend. I'll miss you so much, and Pray now and then, That before too, too long, we'll be together again.
