Condolences
For some people time helps to cope with different situations. We never forget but we learn how to cope and that eases some of the sorrow. Continued reliance on God's word the Bible also is a binding force which helps mend our broken hearts. Such is the case when we read Psalms 147:3, and 34:18. Also when we think of the wonderful hope of the resurrection found in John 5:28,29 our hearts are filled with hope!
Otto and my father Warren Childers, were the best of friends. I'll always remember Otto as a larger than life, benevolent soul that always had time for a laugh. I remember the handshake and hug that I got from him the day I joined the Army! There was a deep sense of patriotism and love of country that Otto conveyed with a wholehearted passion that I will never forget. His presence in my life as I grew up, seeing him with my dad, left an indelible mark that will always be in my memory!
The death of a loved one can be a very challenging time for everyone in the family. Coping with a loss is difficult and at times overwhelming. For many Gods word is a source of encouragement. While I dont know your family I have experienced losing a loved one in death and relying on the hope the Bible offers has helped. For instance Phillipians 4:13 gives us the strength to continue enduring. We also have the hope of the resurrection found at John 5:28,29. I sincerely hope that these scriptures help you in your times of sorrow.

We know this is a sad time for you but remember that you have lots of family and friends to share your memories and your feelings with and really hoping this will make your pain and sorrow just a little bit easier to handle.
We are so sorry to hear about your father's passing. I know this is a very sad and difficult time for you and your family. Your dad was such a great guy and we are so sorry about your loss. Farewell, Otto. You were, and always will be, near and dear to my heart. Kevin said it best on behalf of our dad "You were the best friend a man could have." You will be sadly, and sorely missed by all those you've touched through the years. Our condolences to all.
There are no words to express the sadness of losing someone dear. He will be missed always and forever remembered in all our hearts.
