Obituary of Otto Beins

Otto Beins, 77, of Jackson passed away at home on Sunday, March 18, 2012. Otto was born in Berlin, Germany and came to the US in 1936 settling in the Bronx. He had lived in South River, Howell, Brick, and Lakewood before moving to Jackson in 2011. Otto served in the National Guard as a reservist. He worked for Toms River Chemical for 36 years as an iron worker, retiring in 1991. Otto was a member of the Elks BPOE Lodge 2151, Brick. Otto is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Tillie Beins of Jackson; two sons, Arthur Beins of Toms River and Terrance Beins and his wife, Debbie, Jackson; a daughter, Lisa Cahill and her husband, Joseph of Whiting; a stepson, James Russo and his wife, Becky of Los Angeles, CA; a stepdaughter, Donna Austin and her husband, Gil of Celina, TX; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Biens of Garland, TX and Arthur Biens of Dallas, TX; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
