In the seventies and eighties, Captain DeGulis spearheaded the Manalapan Twp. Police Explorers. Not only was he a father figure, he also took us “kids” under his wings and was a great inspiration to all of us. His service to the community will always be remembered.

MY cousin Vinnie... and the years spent in youth and the trouble we got into, all the best fun and the things I learned.... It's a great part of what I'm made of, and I'll never forget a moment of it...
