Obituary of Guy Weston

Guy Weston, 67, of Farmingdale passed away at VA New Jersey Healthcare System, Lyons Campus, on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Guy was born in Paterson and raised in Hawthorne where he graduated in the Class of 1965. Guy served in the U.S. States Army during the Vietnam War, receiving the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and a Silver Star, as well as two overseas bars, and was celebrated as a war hero. He was an honorary member of the Legion Riders and a member of the V.F.W. Post #1593, Hawthorne. Guy was predeceased by his parents, Roland Weston in 1999 and Jean D. Weston in 2008. He is survived by two brothers, Scott Weston and his wife, Mary, of Farmingdale, and Vincent Weston and his wife, Anne Marie, of Omaha, NE; and two nieces and a nephew. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 12:00 Noon funeral service on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. Wm. C.
