Condolences
I worked with Dominick in Chester,NY and at Hamilton Printing in Castelton, NY for about 14 years. He was a hard, dedicated, loyal coworker. He was also very knowledgeable about the art of bookbinding.
He was also a friend. I lived in the apartment right above him for 6 years. Every so often on a Sunday afternoon, there was a knock on the door. There was his daughter Jane with a huge bowl of macaroni, meatballs and sausages. Enough to feed 3 people and I lived alone. Then came dessert. Dominick always told me he had to have a piece of cake after dinner!
Dominick, Janet and his kids were like having another family because I had moved over 100 miles to upstate New York for the job in 1979. So it made living by myself a lot easier. I remember Steven showing me how to solve the Rubik's Cube. When I got my first computer in the early 1980's I remember showing it to Jane. She was pretty excited. I only met Dom,jr a couple of times. Never met Susan.
I looked at the posted pictures for over an hour with a smile and some tears. Nothing but happy memories.
Rest in peace Dominick!
