Obituary of Dominick Sabatino
Dominick Sabatino, 90, of Howell, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, then moved to Howell in 2005. Dominick honorably served in the United States Army during WWII and worked for Hamilton Printing as a book binder, retiring in 1990. In his spare time Dominick was still a hard worker who loved working with his hands, whether he was tending to his fruit trees or constructing his own house in upstate New York. Dominick was a loving, caring man and who knew how to take care of his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Dominick was predeceased by his daughter Jane Riciutti in 2012. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet Sabatino, of Howell; three children, Dominick "Bud" Sabatino and his wife, Susan, of California, Susan Picone of Howell, Steven Sabatino and his wife Diane, of Florida; a son-in-law, Peter Riciutti of Maryland; and seven grandchildren, Eugene Picone, David Riciutti, Foster Sabatino, Matthew Picone, Lynne Riciutti, Matisse Sabatino, and John Sabatino.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 8:30 AM for the procession to his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
