Condolences
Karen and family, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Charlie was such a wonderful, caring person. He made going to the family reunions a joy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours at this time. Charlie will be missed.
I am sorry for your loss. I wish the best for all affected. It is never easy to loose a loved one.
Charlie is an original, one of the founding members of the MRO. MRO stands for Manufacturer's Rep Organiztion, which was put together by industry friends 25-30 years ago, to share information about how we go to business. At least that was the guise we used for 12 of us to get together and play golf for a looooong weekend. Charlie always apologized for his lack of golfing talent, but in fact that made no difference to us, we just loved having him with us for a few days once a year. He is one of the most endearing of the group and we were disappointed a few years ago, when he decided to give up golf all together..... it was our loss.
We consider Charlie a good friend, a kind soul and someone to be admired for his demeanor and business acumen.

We will miss you, Charlie.
Charlie grew up with three sisters and three brothers. The brothers were named Danny, Norbie, aqnd Bernie. Our dad often seemed forgetful and one day was looking at Charlie and said:"Danny! No, that's not right. Norbie! No, that's not right. Bernie! no that;s not right." Charlie knew his name was coming next. Dad looked at him and said:"Walter!" Charlie had always said that dad was doing okay until he left the family.
Karen, Jason, Joanna, and Blake. Charlie loved all of you and everyone loved Charlie. It is good to remember some of Charlie’s favorite stories. Dad calling him Walter, Charlie taking dad for a haircut, or mom making change after an all-night poker game at Audrey Avenue were always a few of mine. Thanks for giving our brother a great life. We will be keeping you in all of our prayers. Love Linda, Bernie, & Foxy
Dear Karen, Jason and Joanna. We are so deeply saddened by the loss of your husband and father and our dear brother. He always lit up the room with his presence and his twinkling eyes. And of course we will miss the wonderful stories he could tell. May all the wonderful memories you have made with him over the years bring you comfort. It always makes my heart a little lighter as I remember our dad chasing Charlie around the yard and giving up in laughter. Our most sincere condolences. Love, Edie and Tim
Karen, Jason, and Joanna, We are so glad that we were able to spend several days with Charlie over the past few months. He was always a gentleman and a great storyteller. Everyone who knew Charlie loved Charlie. And he felt the same about everyone. Charlie never said a mean word about anyone in his life. He was a great brother and I'll never forget our time together from our early days of sharing weekly Saturday night baths up unti his death. From the time he was a young boy until just a few days ago, his kind and caring heart never changed. We are going to miss him and look forward to seeing him again in our next life. We love you guys. Norb and Jean
So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. My heart goes out to Karen and the Rieg family. Haven't seen my cousin Charlie for a long time but have fond memories of his great smile and laugh when we were younger as Uncle Ed & Aunt Ida's home was a such happy family gathering place growing up. No more pain for him. May his soul rest in peace...
I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Dear Karen, Jason and Joanna., May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. My brother Charlie always had a smile on his face and loved to laugh and was a pretty good golfer too. I'm glad he is no longer in pain. He will be deeply missed, but I am so looking forward to seeing him once again in that other world. Rest in peace. We love you. Dan & Pat
