My heart is broken to learn of Uncle Paul's passing then with another swift blow my devoted Aunt Heady. We spoke every year at X-Mas since 2010 when my mom passed. We simply laughed and giggled at all the old stories of my mom, Pop Pop, Nanny, Jimmy and Jackie and their escapades growing up during the Great Depression. He talked about his devotion and pride in his sons and the gratitude for meeting Aunt Heady...and that she stuck with him (as he would incredulously say).
These are so precious to me and I loved my Uncle Paul. We would say, "we're playing a game of one-upmanship" as we tried to out duel one another with the funniest X-Mas card. His laughter and love resonate within me forever. My mom( or as she said The Baby) would regale me with memories of Uncle Paul and dear Aunt Heady cutting the rug and out dancing all comers at any social event.
It is my hope the family can take solace to know that Uncle Paul touched another soul and has left profound impact on how I see the world. My deep love, condolences, gratitude, strength to Paul/Beth, Pat/Angela, Mike/Carolann and sweet Timmy/Lorrain for the loss of Uncle Paul and Aunt Heady. Love always, Coleen Brady
