Obituary of John Lazarus
John J. "Irish" Lazarus, Jr., 67, beloved husband of Deborah Beal of Farmingdale, NJ passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Hackensack University Medical Center from complications suffered from Multiple Myeloma. John was born in Passaic and was raised in Nutley. He lived in Tinton Falls before moving to Farmingdale two years ago. Mr. Lazarus, a self-employed investment advisor and a chartered life underwriter. He enjoyed flying private aircraft and served as an officer with the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. John was an active parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale, NJ.
In addition to his beloved wife, Mr. Lazarus is survived by a brother, Kenneth Lazarus and his wife, Marylyn of Washington, DC; and six nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM Memorial Mass on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Chapel, Main Street, Farmingdale, NJ. Inurnment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's memory may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, Massachusetts 01202.
