Condolences
I'm so glad that I phoned you about seven or eight years ago. I was sitting in my backyard here in PA drinking vino rosso when the impulse came to me. We talked as though we had spoken the week before instead of over forty years ago. You invited me to visit you in New Jersey. I'm sorry now that I didn't make it. We would have talked about handball on Ave. P, Louie DiBartoli, Tony Pace...
I'd have brought you red wine from Etna. We would have exchanged pictures of grandchildren and great grandchildren. I would have asked you about Caroline. I would have enjoyed seeing Yvonne again. It was in her obituary that I learned you died almost five years ago.
Can the world forget that day you and I accepted Sid's challenge at handball? We beat him and got a free egg cream at his luncheonette next to the Claridge. Rest in peace Dom.
Tom
My condolences to the Cusanelli family for your loss.
I had the pleasure of working with Dom for 6 years while I was at Playbill. It was my first job out of college and Dom used to call me "kid." He was one of my favorite people and has crossed my mind countless times in the 25+ years since we worked together. He was a wonderful, kind man. Truly one of a kind. I'm saddened to hear of his passing and send you my sincerest condolences.
I'M SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOST. OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY…..
