Condolences
I remember Sue from way back at the beginning of Holy Innocents Parish. I remember her as being very active in civic and religious organizations. My memory is that she always looked so beautiful - like she stepped off the page of a magazine. Altho' I did not really know her personally I admired her from afar. I know that she was a Catholic Daughter since the 1950's. I feel she probably knew my mother, Mary Dugan, as she was also a member during the fifties. God Bless You and may Sue Rest in Peace!! I work at Runk and Pratt of Forest. Admission day is always stressful, not only for the resident, but for the family as well. We do everything we can to make it as smooth a transition as possible. Anyway, on the day Mary was admitted, our Administrator had allowed employees to wear football jerseys from our favorite teams. I was standing in the lobby at my medication cart, wearing my Steelers jersey (#7) when Mary came in. Mary took one look at me, walked straight up to me, carrying that infamous pocketbook and stopped right in front of me. I remember thinking "OK what's going to happen next." Well, Mary poked me in the shoulder, right on the Steelers emblem and stated loud and clear "I like you!" Believe me, she was my "gramma" Mary from then on, and even when she was having a bad day, I could break through and get a smile. I'll always remember her with love.
