Obituary of Mary Imbemba
Mary J. Imbemba, 90, of Freehold passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mary was born in New York City, NY, was raised in East Harlem, and had lived in Bergenfield before settling to Surrey Downs, Freehold in 1987. She was a homemaker but also worked as a clerk for Parents Magazine, Englewood.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of sixty-eight years, Gabriel R. Imbemba; three sons, Eugene J. Imbemba and his wife, Patricia of Belford, Thomas Imbemba of Vienna, Virginia, and Gabriel A. Imbemba and his wife, Diane of Marlboro; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Anthony Crisafulli of Bergenfield and a sister, Elizabeth DiBella of Matawan.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the Funeral Home on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Entombment to follow in Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Holmdel, NJ.
