Obituary of Elizabeth Fama
Elizabeth A. Fama, 63, of Manalapan, NJ died on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Fama was born, raised and lived in Bayonne before settling in Manalapan in 1972. Mrs. Fama was a graduate of the Holy Family Academy in Bayonne, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Joseph's. Mrs. Fama was a graduate of the Monmouth County Vocational School Nursing Program in 1995, practicing as an LPN for Monmouth Cardiology, in Freehold for ten years.
She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Hudacko and a sister, Rosemarie Mangiero. She is survived by her beloved husband of forty-three years, Michael Fama of Manalapan; loving children, Michael Fama and his wife Lisa of Stewartsville, Kim Tomkovich and her husband Dr. Kenneth of Manalapan, and Lisa Kuchar and her husband John of Millstone; Also a Grammie to eight grandchildren, Michael, Gabriella, Kenny, Elizabeth, Andrew, Johnny, Georgia, and Max.
Visiting at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp., NJ on Wednesday and Thursday, April 22nd and 23rd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday at 8:30 a.m. for her rite of Committal followed by her 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Millstone Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
