Obituary of Betty Jane Joyce

Betty Jane Joyce, 87, of Farmingdale passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Neptune Rehabilitation & Care Center, Neptune. Betty was born in Roselle, NJ and had lived in Roselle Park and Old Bridge before moving to Farmingdale in 1964. She was a Librarian for Madison Township School System in Old Bridge retiring in 1965. Betty along with her former husband owned and operated Joyce's Bar & Grill in Farmingdale. She was a member of the Howell Senior Center and the Immanuel Bible Church, Farmingdale. Betty was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Place and three sisters, Marjorie Johnson, Faith Berminghan and Madeline Place. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Ammerman of Farmingdale and Barbara Lewis and her husband, Dayton E. of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; seven grandchildren, Michelle Martin and her husband, Reese, Laura Rizzo and her husband, Christopher, Bonnie Fafard and her husband, Marc, Kimberly Lewis , Brian Lewis , David Gilham and his wife, Mary and Gayelynn Coyle and her husband, Timothy; six great grandchildren, Aimee, Chance, Joshua, Logan, Peyton and Brooke; and a great great grandson, Sean Paul. She also leave behind two dear friends, Jane Normann and Susan Garrabrant. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM with her funeral service to follow at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale, NJ.
