Condolences
Dear Julie, I was so sorry to read about Don's passing. I was a young Auditor hired by Don Shames in 1979 and got to work with, know and play golf against Don in the company's golf league. Don was well respected and a mentor to me in my time at Americom. He was a little tough at times but well liked. My prayers are with you and your family. Victor Della Bella
I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Don for several years. He was a good man who took much pride in his family and his work. My prayers are with you all.
Julie - Although not under the best circumstances, it was because of Don that we met. You gave Don so many gifts near his end - the gift of listening, of affection, of multiple favors, of cheerful disposition, of time, of compassion, and much more. I hope the memories of Don will soothe your spirit and be a blessing in your life. You're kept very close in thought and prayer. As I am, Ingrid
