Obituary of Donald DiBenedetto

DiBenedetto, Donald, 78, of Freehold Twp., passed away on Monday, August 24, 2009, at home. Mr. DiBenedetto was born, raised and had lived in Newark before moving to Freehold Twp. 24 years ago. He retired, in 1992, after 40 years of service at GE Americom, Princeton as the Director of Purchasing. Mr. DiBenedetto was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during Korea. His love was his family and his passion was to play golf. He is predeceased by a daughter, Donna Lee DiBenedetto, in 1960, a brother, Anthony DiBenedetto, in 2007, and a sister, Rose Corso, in 2004 Mr. DiBenedetto is survived by his wife, Julie, of Freehold Twp.; 3 Sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cathy of Kendall Park, NJ, Mark and Lynne of Upper Montclair, NJ, and Donald and Rebecca of Kingston, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Barbara and Daniel Ianni, of Chillicothe, Ohio; 2 Stepdaughters, Patricia Lee of Freehold Twp. and Laura Schneider and her husband, Thomas, of Staten Island, NY; 15 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. His Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at the New Dorp Moravian Church, 2205 Richmond Road, Staten Island, NY, with inurnment to follow in Moravian Cemetery.
