Obituary of Charles Branley
Charles Branley, 84, of Manalapan, NJ passed away on September 8, 2009 at the The Manor, Freehold Township. Mr. Branley was born, raised, and had lived in New York City, NY. He then lived in Rivervale for 49 years before moving to Manalapan in 2005.
Mr. Branley was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran serving in World War II from 1942 to 1946. He attended New York University and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mr. Branley was an Electrical Engineer at The Bendix-Honeywell Corporation, Teterboro retiring in 1990. Charles was a Ham Radio Operator, call sign WA2EQS.
Mr. Branley was predeceased by; four brothers, Michael, John, Bill, and Ed Branley; a sister, Anna Reine. He is survived by; his wife, Mary Branley of Manalapan; a son & daughter-in-law, Michael and Geraldine Branley of Lower Mancungie, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Tom Frein of Plainsboro and Kris and Wayne Milazzo of Freehold Township; seven grandchildren, Greg, Chris, Melissa, Matt, Kate, Julie, and Grace; one brother, Robert Branley of Louisiana.
A gathering will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, September 11, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attended his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ. Inurnment will be private at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Charles may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834 and would be appreciated.
