Condolences
I am so sorry Frank has left all of you. He was such a sweet man and a big part of my childhood. My heart breaks for all of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love always to our Angel Frank.
When I was growing up, I was taught that the most important thing about being a man were your core values and the impressions you made on other people.
All of my life I struggled to understand why it was so important to make such an impression on others.
Frank Nunes has made and impression on me.
Frank was a man who looked me in the eye, shook my hand, and told me I was welcomed to come into his house, the very first time he met me. It was because I was with his daughter who he loved, respected and believed in.
Frank was a man who worked doing what ever it took to provide for his family.
Frank was a man who would first say "wow-that's great" and then ask "what is it". He was always looking at the bright side on things.
Frank was a man who came to countless birthday parties, as well as baseball & football games for his grandchildren. Not because he had to, but because he wanted to.
Frank was a man who would tirelessly clean up after parties for no other reason than he new it would interfere with our fun if we had to do it. He was always concerned with our well being and happiness.
Frank was a man who made every fishing and crabbing trip an adventure. No matter how bad the weather or how little we caught. He was always prepared.
Frank was a man who would wear his famous silly hats or funny T-shirts at parties, not because he wanted to be in the spotlight, but because he enjoyed making people smile and laugh.
Frank was a man who used special communication skills to describe his love for food and family. A typical statement to me would be "Hey SIL, this cake is BTS". (SIL=son in law) (BTS=better than sex)
Frank was a man who phoned on every birthday to wish you a great day by singing (snorting like a pig) the happy birthday song melody. I'm really going to miss that!
Frank was a very special person. He was a Man in every sense of the word.
He was my Friend and my Father, and I loved him.

We would like to express our condolences to Frank's family. Frank worked for my brother and I at Roofing Sales Co. for many many years. He was a valued and trusted employee who always kept everyone in the company laughing. He loved telling jokes and was a man of many "hats". He loved cooking and sharing with the guys in the driver's room. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him.
Just heard about your loss and we are so sorry. My sister Jan has been in contact with Vicky and she told her and today we saw it in the paper. Very fond memories for Frank at all of our family gatherings over the years. You will be in our thoughts.
