Condolences
Dearest Rose, I cannot tell you in words how much your Mom meant to me. It was almost as if I had a second Mom. She just seemed to touch everyones heart. My only regret is that I did not get down to see her more often. I don't want that to happen to us. You have always been one of my very few close friends. "MOM" will always be in my heart as will you. Rich sends his love also. God Bless and we thank him for letting us get to know her. Love Always' Joyce
I will never forget the vacation at the shore with my Aunt Isabelle and Cousin Roseanne. We went to Wildwood, and on the miniature golf course we met a fellow playing mini-golf by himself. She invited him to join us and he was a little older than me. She was playing matchmaker, and after a round of golf, she let me explore the boardwalk with this young fellow. When I arrived back at the apartment, she was the first to notice a mark on my neck. Of course my cousin teased me about my first hickey - which I didn't realize was there, but Aunt Is had a smile and a way of laughing that made me feel at ease. So, she introduced me to my first Philadelphia boyfriend, was there for the first hickey and gave me the first weekend at the shore experience. Love ya always Aunt Is!
A good and decent friend to Mother when the family lived upstairs on 4th street. She was so very proud of Joey and Rosanne May she rest in peace.
Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss of Isabelle. I was a student nurse from 1973 - 1976 at Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing. I have fond memories of Mrs. Skrzypzak as my housemother. May the Lord's peace be with you at this difficult time. Roberta Lyman Maurer
