Woody, Mary Ann and i ( John ) went out to dinner at Red Lobster Woody ordered lobster tail and snow crab with shrimp i had shrimp plate and Mary Ann had fish dinner with root beer all around. woody had a big smile o n his face and ate everything on his plate except for 3 butterfly shrimp. the entire time we were eating he had the biggest smile on his face as he enjoyed the meal and for me that is how i will remember him sitting and eating his favorite foods with that smile that was July 23, 2010.
he was a loving husband to my sister and a good friend to me and my brother- in-law if he had any fault it was he had a huge heart he tried to help all who were his friends and family there will never be another like him.
I will miss you Woody but lets hope you are in a better place with all the food you could want and all your friends.
your brother- in-law John Dixon
We were so sorry to hear of the loss of Woody. My grandfather was a friend and fellow grave blanket maker. I've been hearing Woody's name since I was old enough to remember. My Grandfather always spoke highly of him. Your all in my prayers.
Sincere condolences go out to Woody's family. Over the course of the 30+ years I knew him, Woody always had the big grin whenever I ran into him. Rest peacefully... Jim & Wanda Paradise
Talk about having an OMG moment. I was in utter shock to read that Woody is no longer with us. Maryann, I am so sorry. Although I had only met Woody on a few occasions (like when we would stop by for a Woody Wreath for the holidays) I found him to be so sweet and so kind. He had a wonderful sense of humor and his warmth was beyond compare. He will be sorely missed by both Keith and I. I am so sorry for your loss. Beverly and Keith Snyder
