Obituary of Denise Ferland

Denise L. Ferland, 78, of Farmingdale passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mrs. Ferland was born in Quebec City, Canada and moved to the United States in 1967. She was a seamstress and a member of the I.L.G.W.U, Asbury Park. Mrs. Ferland is survived by her husband, Jacques of Farmingdale; her son, Andre Ferland of Cherry Hill; her daughter, Sylvie Neal of Farmingdale; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; her brother, Jacques Picard; and her two sisters, Pauline Blouin and Madeleine Payette all of Louretteville, Quebec. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (route 524) Freehold Township on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 8:00 AM for her rite of committal followed by her 9:00 AM funeral mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Ave., Farmingdale. Interment will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Wall.
