Obituary of John Molnar

John Molnar, 64, of Toms River passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Van Dyke Hospice at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mr. Molnar was born, raised and had lived in Carteret, Matawan and Freehold before moving to Toms River in 2004. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union, Local # 9, Manalapan, retiring in 2007. John was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Freehold and a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was a former parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Toms River. John was a former plumbing inspector for Jackson, West Windsor and the City of Asbury Park. He was also a plumbing teacher at the Monmouth County Vocational School. John was predeceased by his brother, Pete Molnar. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John M. Molnar and his wife, Sarah of Allentown, NJ; his daughter, Michelle Molnar of Boca Raton, FL; three grandchildren, John T. Molnar, Joe Molnar and Jack Molnar and his companion, Mildred Delgado of Toms River. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge.
