We will always remember Uncle Louie's big smile, positive attitude and generosity. Kayla refers to Uncle Louie as "the cookie man" because he always came to Oceanport with a large tray of Italian cookies. "The cookie man's" visits to Oceanport were always looked forward to and appreciated. Theresa remembers how he often called her "Tessi" a name she hated as a young girl but grew to love with time and in association with her brother. Uncle Louie always ended each visit with a big hug and an "I love you." Personally I remember my Uncle as "a big man with horses," always kind, always laughing and always positive. It had been many years since I saw Uncle Louie, most of my memories of him were from my childhood. But I did see him recently at my Mother's house in Oceanport. A grown woman now in my 40's the last time I saw Uncle Louie I was young and slim. He hugged me and told me I was still beautiful! So yes Uncle Louie we will miss your charm, your generosity and your positivity. Our deepest condolences to Diana and her family. The Knott family...Stacey Milchev

I am very sorry to hear about Lou, he was always a friend you could count on. Although I haven't seen him since he moved to Florida I thought of him often. unfortunately I cannot attend the services for him as I will be leaving for N.Y. to go deer hunting on Wed. Morning. May God bless you and your family and my friend Lou. Ray Miller
