Obituary of Louis Buonansonti
Louis "Big Lou" Buonansonti, 77, of Farmingdale passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Big Lou was born in Staten Island and had lived in Farmingdale before retiring to St. Petersburg, FL. He served as a diver in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Big Lou, along with his brother, Jack operated A-General Sewer of Monmouth and Middlesex until his retirement in 1994. Prior to that, he was the meat manager for Pantry Pride, Middletown. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.
Big Lou is survived by one daughter, Diana Maletto and her husband, Frank of Farmingdale; two grandchildren, Frank Maletto, Jr. and Nancy Maletto both of Farmingdale; a brother, Jack Buonansonti and his wife, Joan of Freehold; a sister, Terry Knot of Ocean Port; a lifelong friend, Jack Soden of FL.; and a dear friend, Toni Cheverette of FL.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 8:00 AM for his rite of committal followed by his 9:00 AM funeral mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Chapel, North Main Street, Farmingdale.
