Gloria & Family: It has been many years since we last spoke and saw each other. My sisters, Maureen and Janice and I have been spending a lot of time on Ancestry.com constructing our family tree, when just moments ago we wondered about you and Gerard and your family. After just now doing a random google search, I saw Gerard's obituary and was saddened to read that he has passed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. As the older brother of our family, I probably knew and remember Gerard best. Also, as memory serves, my sister Janice was your flower girl in your wedding party. When I was young, Gerard would ride his bicycle over to East 38th Street to visit. Whenever he came to visit, he always would give me a ride on his bicycle. I would climb up on the middle bar and hold on tight to the handlebars. In a way, Gerard was like my big brother. I also remember all of our family dinners with Uncle Larry and Aunt Flory on New Year's Day. I enjoyed the home movies Gerard would show when the family got together. I can also recall going to the airport with Mom and Dad, Uncle Larry and Aunt Flory when Gerard went into the army. I will always remember when he took off on the helicopter to his base. I don't know how or why we lost touch with you guys. I will keep Gerard and your family in my prayers. Tom Duffy 26 Charlemagne Place Pine Brook, NJ 07058 973-882-9606
