Obituary of Gerard Heavey

Gerard "Jerry" Heavey, 63, of Jackson passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mr. Heavey was born in and had lived in Brooklyn and Freehold Township before settling to Jackson. He was the Assistant Vice President of Merrill Lynch, New York City until his retirement four years ago. Jerry was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Heavey of Jackson; his son, Marc Heavey of Linden; two daughters, Christina Varvar of Manalapan and Jennifer Cea of Howell; and three grandchildren. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM with his funeral service at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
