For many years, 10 years to be exact ending in 2006, I was Bill's unofficial helper, lining fields, helped secure the Wemrock Rd fields with the late Jeannine Willis, ref assigning etc. As a coach, I had a group of girls who were the "not good enough to be a B team" at U-9 in Marlboro to become the 2003 finalist and 2005 U-18 State Cup Champs out of BOM.
Bill was always there for my girls. Most are now 23 or 24 and are teachers, medical students, law students, CPA's,and a PhD candidate in physical therapy, my daughter. If not for Bill in those early years I do not think these young ladies would have had a place to play a sport they truly loved, have a chance to gain their self respect and be taught so many life lessons through soccer.
