Obituary of Jane McNicholas
Jane A. McNicholas, 74, of Jackson passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at home. Mrs. McNicholas was born in and had lived in Brooklyn before settling to Jackson in 2004. She was an Educational Assistant in the Pre-K programs for the Brooklyn Public School System for over 25 years. She was involved in many voluntary activities, especially the Soup Kitchen in Freehold and was an active member and daily communicant at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township, and active in the R.C.I.A. Program.
Jane was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Eleanor Ciminelli, and her son, John P. McNicholas, Jr.. She is survived by her husband, John McNicholas of Jackson; her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine Blanco and her husband, Gene of Freehold Township; two grandchildren, Gene and Jonathan Blanco; two brothers, John Ciminelli of Brooklyn, and William Ciminelli of Houston, TX; and one sister-in-law, Maryann Dean of Brooklyn.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Jane may be made to the John P.
