Obituary of Conrad Whiteside
Conrad A. Whiteside, 72, of Freehold passed away on June 7, 2011, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Conrad was born in Brooklyn and had lived in West Brighton, Staten Island, before moving to Freehold in 1987.
He was a harbor pilot with the New York/New Jersey Sandy Hook Pilot Association,, Staten Island, until his retirement in 1997. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Freehold, and a Friend of Bill's.
He is survived by a son, Alexander Whiteside and his wife, Bobbi Jo, of Brick; three daughters, Karen Fox and her husband, John, of Jackson; Julie Koslowski and her husband, Joe, of Neptune and Peggy Ann Whiteside of Ocean Twp.; his companion, Marsha Pratt of Freehold; six grandchildren, Alex, Cody, Nick, Erin, Ian and Joseph; a sister, Sandra Nelson of Pleasant View, Utah and her three children, Stacey, Susan, & Tommy, and his former wife, Peggy Smith Whiteside of Neptune.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Thursday and Friday, June 9 and 10, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM both days. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Hope Lutheran Church, 211 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Twp., NJ. Interment will be private.
