Condolences
Dear Haviland family, I was very sad to read about Uncle Carl here! I haven't kept up like I wanted to do so I didn't know of his passing! I pray you all are well and happy now! Sincerely, Mary
Frank and family, I was away on vacation the past two weeks and I just heard about the loss of your father today. Although I never had the privilege of knowing him, I know how deeply you must be affected, and I can't tell you how sorry I am. I hope the sympathy of your many friends both past and present can in some way lighten your burden of sorrow. Very Sincerely, Cathy Collier Heyn
My fondest memory of Carl is the way he loved to tease Aunt Mary Hendrickson. One particular incident that sticks in my mind happened Christmas day in the late 1940's.Carl and my father got together and got a bunch of boxes {nesting boxes}. The smallest being a shoe box and the largest about the size an old TV set would come in.They wrapped each box and in between them they put loads of newspaper. Then they gave it to Aunt Mary as her Christmas present. Believe me, it took her about a half an hour to get down to the shoe box and when she opened it there was a big yellow banana. They all thought that was the funniest thing in the world.
Deepest sympathy on your loss. Charlie Wladyka

To: Mr. Frank Haviland. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. You may not remember me but I was the catcher on your baseball teams at Wilson Grammar School in 1960 and 1961. I now live in Tabernacle Township and have taught 10 youth baseball teams the things you taught me. I also bought a Ford Ranchero in 1979 like the one you took us to away games in and I still have it. I would have liked to attend the service for your Dad but my wife's father died on July 8th so we will be in Maryland. Again, I am sorry for your loss.
To Leona and Family, My deepest condolences to you at your loss of Carl. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. As my long time friend he will be missed.
Dear Leona and Family, I am Norman Hart's daughter. We were neighbors for years when you lived on Grant Street. We could not have asked for nicer neighbors then you and Carl. I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless you, Naureen
Sincere condolences to the Haviland family from the Amadruto family.
