Condolences
Mrs. Farry - Please accept our condolences to you and all the family. Although we've been away from Farmingdale, I have very clear memories of when Bob helped establish the junior firemen group at FFD, and that you also served in the auxiliary. Bob's leadership and even-keeled approach were wonderful examples to us teenagers at that time. Know that we have you in our prayers, and that we are all In His grip~ David Ritter & family Midland, Michigan
Scott and Mary, we are so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. The kids and I are in Alabama, so won't be able to see you, but wanted you to know we send our love and prayers for you and your family at this most difficult time. Laurie
Pat and I cannot tell you how sorry we are on hearing of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful man and we are proud to have known and worked with him. Our deepest sympathies are with you all.
Scott, we send our condolences to you and your family. "When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you through the years, but start out bravely with a smile... ...Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer, and I, in turn, will comfort you and hold you near. And never, never be afraid to die, for I am waiting for you in the sky". -Helen Steiner Rice
Please accept the condolences of our family. We pray for the delivery of his soul and for the briefest of heartaches for those he left behind.
To the Farry Family, Scott my sincere condolences to you and your family on the death of your father. I know that you all will miss your father. We all share in your sadness on his passing. Take care, Brenda Meckes
I think my Dad really did like our cats growing up, but he still found it hysterical to tease them (whether it was intentional or not). When it was very quiet in the room, and a cat was just sitting peacefully on the floor, he would toss a TV Guide next to it and watch the cat jump a foot into the air. He just laughed and laughed. His laugh always made me laugh even harder.
I remember being at Joanne's house in the summertime, and Mr. Farry would whistle to us when it was time to get in the pool. He'd call, "Everybody in the pool," and he'd whistle three times afterwards, like it was an alarm. That was our cue that it was time for a dip!
I got a million of em, but I just remebered this funny one... As dad ran out the back door to a midnight fire call. He inadvertantly trapped the cat between the back door and the screen door for hours till he returned from the fire. I can just imagine how that cat felt. Dad thought it was hilarious. Scott
Vivian and family, My sincere condolences for your loss. I've only had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Farry (Robert) for a few short years - he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
My prayers and thoughts go out to Bobs family. It was my pleasure to have known and worked with Bob many years ago.
My condolences to the Farry family. I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Farry's passing. I will always remember him as a kind, caring man with such a wonderful sense of humor. He was so patient and tolerant of us little girls playing in the house and disturbing his quiet. It was a privilege to have known Mr. Farry and his family as I was growing up, and I will always remember him with fondness. Elsa Soderman Young
