Obituary of Michael Kudryk

Michael Kudryk, 64, of Freehold Township passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 7, 2011 while competing along with his sons, in a triathlon relay in New York City. Michael was born in Mittenwald, Germany and came to the U.S. being raised and living in New York City before settling in Freehold Township in 1970. He was the Vice President of Finance and former owner of Acupowder, LLC of Union for the past thirty-five years. Michael was the Director of Finance for M.P.I.F.. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colts Neck, a member of Bella Vista Country Club, Marlboro, and New York Roadrunners Club, NYC. Michael had a love for his family and passion for golf, tennis, racquetball and skiing. He also ran and completed the 2006 NYC Marathon. Michael is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nadia; two sons, Michael "Michou" Kudryk of Freehold and Chris Kudryk, of Freehold; a daughter, Tiffany Kudryk and her fiancé Fred Mandeville of Manalapan; a granddaughter, Bria Nicole Kudryk; and a sister, Olga Mecznik and her husband, Peter of Philadelphia. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM followed by his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck.
