Condolences
Cathy, I was so sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. My sincere condolences go out to you, your family, and Doug’s family. As time goes on may the strength of your faith, family, and memories help ease your sorrow. From high school, my first thought was of Doug’s great smile. May he rest in eternal peace in God’s Glorious Kingdom. May God bless all of you. Linda )Theodor) Dennison

Cathy, Brandi and Douglas, you are in our thoughts and prayers...i was reflecting last night about Doug and only funny thoughts came to mind...all the hot dogs he cooked at the stand for football and how we called him "Hot Dog Doug". I also remember finding you and Doug on our cruise and the fun we had that week. I will always remember the fun Doug. Love, Jeanne-Marie and Jim
I first met Doug at the old Mercerville Acme in 1982, he was a mentor way back then and continued to be so through out our careers. There are so many stories I could share about our store openings, our friendship and changes in our lives over the years. The most wonderful thing I can say about Doug, he always talked about his love for his family! Such a wonderful man to be around, especially when he talked about Cathy, Brandi and Douglas and then being a Poppy-he loved to show pictures of the girls, his eyes would just sparkle. He will be sadly missed and I am so glad to have many special memories with him. Thoughts and Prayers to all of the family. Erika & Dave Luthke
