Obituary of Mary M. Di Nonno
Mary M. Di Nonno, 80, of Freehold Township passed away at home on Monday, November 20, 2017. Mary was born and raised in Brooklyn prior to moving to Freehold Township in 1970. She served in many accounting and management positions over the years. Her last position was as a bookkeeper and office manager at National Home Funding before retiring in 2000.
Among her many talents, she was a highly accomplished artist with a concentration on water colors, pastels and ceramics. She continued attending art classes up until the time of her passing and was a member of the Freehold Art Society. Friends and family were fortunate enough to receive her annual Christmas card that she hand-painted. Mary was a notary public who loved reading and taking trips to California to visit her daughter and son-in-law. A socially dynamic woman, she was extremely well-liked, and was always described as kind and generous.
Mary is survived by her husband, Carmine Di Nonno of Freehold Township; her daughter, Madeline Di Nonno and her husband Dave Wooldridge of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Diana Manzo of Westbury, LI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, November 25, 2017 and Sunday, November 26, 2017from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Monday, November 27, 2017. Entombment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
