Condolences
Aunt Joan, you will live in my heart always. As a kid growing up in Brooklyn you and Uncle Val were always kind and caring to me. I’ve never seen either one of you angry or upset with each other which is a testament to your love for each other. I had great times visiting you, Uncle and Jaime, and Billy in your apartment in Brooklyn. There are so many memories I can go on forever! Joan and I are blessed to have had you in our lives. I’m sure you’ve earned your Angel wings!
We love you always. Rest In Peace.
Our Sincere Condolences To The Family,
If I only Somebody would have told me, II would have loved to see her one more time before she passed.
Her son

Dear Uncle Val,
Jamie &Tommy and Family
We are deeply saddened to hear of Aunt Joanie's passing.
Our memories of her will always be present.
I can honestly say that she was especially inspirational with the hundreds of crafts she created; and dear patience teaching me how to use a glue gun for the first time.
Extremely lucky, first in love then in BINGO.
And Im sure we can all agree; A Top Chef.
I have attached "Aunt Joanie Rice Pudding".
She crafted a book for me thirty years ago and enclosed this family favorite receipe card.
Thank you for my memories Aunt Joanie.
Our Sincere Condolences to All.
With Love,
Ronnie Dawn and Alexandra Fasano
So very very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Keeping your family in my prayers... love and hugs...
My heart goes out to the family. I have been saying a rosary every-day since Tuesday. May God bless your soul, as St Peter awaits you at the gate. Love you Jonie.
My deepest condolences go out to this family. My mom "Trudy" was a good friend of Joan. Joan passed away one day before my mom's birthday. I know they are now together in heaven dancing and singing and just laughing. Joan was a very special lady with class and so much love for her family and friends. I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with her and my mom and different functions, bingo and the Regina Center and just sitting outside on the stoop of 64th Street. Her greatest gift was her family. I am grateful that my mom was her friend and that I had the opportunity to have known her. May she rest in peace with all the angels. Love Deborah
Dear Jamie & family
I cannot express how deeply sorry we are for your loss.Your mom was a beautiful gem of a lady always with a beautiful radiant smile she had everytime i saw her. She always had something nice to say. Again we are so so sorry.......love to you, Tom Nicholas & Michael
I lived directly across the street from Joan and her family in Brooklyn. The neighborhood was a wonderful place to live because of caring parents like Joan. She always had a bright smile for you and always made you feel loved. My condolences to her family and close friends in New Jersey.
