Condolences
Dear Jeanne And Family, So sorry to Hear about The Passing Of Joe, the love Of your Life. May GOD Give You And your Family Much Strength. Remember GOD Will Take Care Of You. Sincere Love Yvonne
My Condolences. I was a pledge with Joe for TKE at Seton Hall. Joe later became Pledge Master( A Key Job) also he served as President of the Fraternity. TKE was like handling a wheelbarrow full of cats! Joe did a great job. All will tell you he was a fantastic, nice guy. Joe had a sense of humor, I tested it a lot!
I was in Basic Army Training at Ft Leonard Wood Missouri. One evening , 2nd LT Joe showed up to welcome me! We went out for a couple of beers. I still have no idea how he knew I was there ! 1970 in Missouri ! It was the last time I had the good fortune to spend some time with Joe.
Dearest Jeanne and family,
We just learned about Joe's passing. What a great man and loved by all. Billy was telling me about all the times Joe called and offered Seton Hall basketball tickets and literally saved the day because that meant he could bring both of our sons. You and Joe always possessed such beautiful love for each other and raised four amazing kids. Your entire family is testimony to what family was designed to be: a place of love, joy and goodness. We grieve with you and will always miss one of the finest men we have ever known.

I was so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. Please accept my love, prayers and condolences for you and your family. Many years have past and I regret that Joe and I lost contact when we moved from NJ. Joe is a big part of my fond memories from the days at KPMG. His smile and wit got us through some very stressful days back then. Your kids like Matt are all adults at this point but they lost their father much too early. Please give them our love and let them know that their father made this world a better place and he will be missed. I regret that I will not be able to attend his funeral mass but my thoughts and prayers will be with you.
Love

We are so deeply saddened by the loss of our cousin, Joe. I know he was a devoted husband and father and brother and a real family man. We are thinking of you all with love and hoping that time will help soften your sadness...leaving only beautiful memories that will last forever in your heart. Our prayers are with you and hope that faith will help you face each tomorrow. There is comfort in knowing he has his Mom and Dad and all his aunts uncles and grandparents welcoming him home. As my Mom said right before she died "We will all be together again".
May God Bless you all,
Kris and Bill Anderson

Truly lost "one of the good guys". I'm proud to be a fellow KPMG partner, veteran and Christian Brothers boy like Joe. My prayers for Joe and all his family. A good life and man called too soon to our God. May God bless all the Burkes.
One of the good things about getting older is that we eventually learn what is important and brightens our lives, and what is of little concern…And one of the things that we learn through the years that has always been found to be true, is how much it means to have a close family and friends.
"Now there are no more words,
But you will know, when I sing
For others, that I bring
To you alone
A leaf, a flower, and a stone"…Anne Morrow Lindbergh
