Joe Burke was a friend. He was brave, strong of heart, a patriot, a man who loved his country and who was immensely proud of his service as a Lieutenant, U.S. Army, Infantry. He was kind, thoughtful and loving man. He loved his wife and family above all. He was a good and loving man. In his brief life he more than earned his place in heaven.
We, Jeannie, and the wonderful children you so ably helped to raise will never forget you. What you accomplished in your life was far more than enough.
We will all see you again on the wind.
