Rest in peace Richie. Our bond grew beyond you being my Father In Law to a close friend and confidant. Your kindness and generosity are exceeded only by your humility and gratitude. I love you and miss you Dad.

My heartfelt condolences to all the Doll family. Richie is part of many sweet memories I have highlighting special events throughout life, particularly regarding the children. He was a mainstay with his big “how are ya?!”

Mr. Doll gave me the best advice for batting. To avoid swinging late, imagine there's a glass wall in front of the plate. You want to hit the ball as if it was up against the glass, and shatter the wall.

Richie was an amazing father-in-law and a caring, loving grandfather to my children. His sense of humor and endless stories will stay with me forever. I am deeply saddened by his passing and send my heartfelt sympathy to all his friends and family members. As I thought of him today, I pictured him greeting all other deceased relatives, friends and family including all his beloved pups who have passed as well. They all missed him too. I do believe he will be playing baseball or at least umping a few games out there. Until we meet again Richie, Rest in Peace.
