Nancy and family...you all have my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences during this time. I'm so very sorry and shocked to hear that Butch has passed. It's been a while since we've talked but I do remember the stories you shared about your beloved Butch and after meeting and talking with him I was able to see for myself what a good and decent person he was .You and your family were blessed to have had him for the time you did. I'm certain that you know life as you all knew it, will never be the same, but please remember that God's promises always brings hope and comfort. I'm praying for peace, comfort and understanding for you and your family.

We are devastated by the loss of our dear neighbor Butch. He was a kind and caring man. He played with the kids at the bus stop in the morning and often saw them off the buss in the afternoon. They would squeal with delight when he would dress up and scare them for Halloween. We would often wake up to a snowstorm with our sidewalks already plowed thanks to his generosity. He was always there for a chat and we will so miss him.
I opened facebook and was shocked. I am so very sorry for Butch’s passing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers If you need to talk. Call please. Love you.

Butch- I’m heartbroken to know you are gone. I have over 20 years of memories. You have been there for me through the good and the bad. You never judged me. You were such a big part of my younger years. Brody was treated like one of your grandkids. Xmas brunches together. Trick or treating and watching you scare the crap out of the kids. Summer bbqs. My endless borrowing of ingredients. Shoveling. You never saying a word when we threw parties while mom and Dad were away. I could go on and on. I will treasure the sled you brought back to life for me this past Xmas. It’s perfect. The last few months we have had some long heart to heart chats. I will never forget them or you. Skylar is one lucky girl to have Butch up there to play with her! Love you!!!!
Our sincere condolences to Nancy and family on the passing of Butch. He was a warm and caring neighbor and will be sorely missed. May God bless all of you in your time of sorrow. Thank you Butch for your service to our country. John and Sheila Maloney and family.
