Obituary of Butch H. Aumack

Borrowes “Butch” H. Aumack, Jr., 70, of Howell passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  He was born in Newburg, NY and raised in Keyport.  Butch had lived in Linden and West Long Branch before settling in Howell 25 years ago.  He worked as a line striper for Traffic Lines, Farmingdale for 18 years.  Butch was also a paratrooper for the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the American Legion of Brick, the Legion Riders, and the bowling league at Ocean Lanes in Brick.  Butch enjoyed wood working, watching the history channel, and antique cars. He also enjoyed the Caribbean and oldies music.  Butch always looked forward to Halloween, especially riding around on his motorcycle scaring the neighborhood kids.   Most of all, he loved hanging out with his grandchildren, and was a caring husband and father.

Butch is survived by his wife of 28 years, Nancy Aumack of Howell; five children, Billy Aumack and his wife, Lori of Brick, Tracy Agolio and her husband, Joe of Fredericksburg, VA, Elena Clausen and her husband, Kevin of Brick, Daniel Krentzman and his wife, Jessica of Tampa, FL, and Adam Krentzman and his wife, Beth of Brick; eight grandchildren, Charles, Brianna, Olivia, Quincy, Ryder, Merrillee, Charli, and Scotti; and sister, Donna Riordan of Keyport.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Interment will be private.  For those who desire, memorial contributions in Butch’s name may be made to American Legion Post 348, 822 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723.
