Condolences
Matt was a wonderful neighbor. Words cannot express how much we will miss his presence in our neighborhood, always willing to help with a smile. He will be sorely missed.
Matty was a great guy. He could even make a boring spin class fun. He will be missed by so many. Our sincerest sympathy.
Rest in Peace, he is in a great place now, no need to worry or be sad. Wish your family wellness and peace through the healing process.

Sometimes words just don’t say it. It’s a feeling. Matty never failed to kiss me hello, making me always feel welcome. His spirit was brighter than most, and will forever live on in the hearts that he has touched. I consider myself blessed for having crossed paths with such an adorable gentle soul. On the Pickleball court he styled his own mannerisms. Certain things he did or the faces he made or The rolling of the eyes, when your shot was a bit ridiculous. He made me laugh and that is a gift. I will miss him. Rest In Peace dear friend

We knew Matty through the Monmouth Pickleball Club and enjoyed playing with him many times. We will miss him. Our sincere condolences to his wife and family.
I had the pleasure of meeting Matty in 1993 at work, in Piscataway, New Jersey.
He had the uncanny ability to fit in anywhere and do anything.
It did not take long to realize, that this was a very special person.
I am very glad to have crossed paths with Matty.
My deepest condolences to, his family, and everyone else he touched.....

With heartfelt sympathy Joan, to you and your family. May your wonderful memories help you through this difficult time.
Deepest sympathy to Joanie and family.. What started as coworkers, became 40 years of friendship. Being friends with Matty, was like being family. I trusted his judgement, shared the ups and downs of life, shake my head now and smile at some of antics we pulled. Most of all, enjoyed hearing him laugh..
He once told me, my youngest son had the “gift” of life. Matty you had the “gift" of life. Bringing love, joy & laughter to your family and friends.. I will miss you my friend. Rest in Peace...
Joan, my heart goes out to you and your family! So very sorry for Matty’s passing! Sending our deepest thoughts, prayers and condolences!
I loved playing Pickleball with Matty. Not because we played well together- we were a horrible team -but because Matty was such a wise a## that he would have a comment and a witty comeback on every play that always made me laugh. He was fun and welcoming to all and I will truly miss him.
One didn’t have to know Matty long to love him. He leaves a large hole in the Pickleball community where he will be sorely missed. And remembered well. May he rest In peace.
I was devastated to hear of Matt’s sudden passing. He was a regular at Gold’s Gym and a regular in some of my classes. His humor kept everyone in class - including me - laughing and entertained. I will miss that and always hearing “Great class, kiddo!” My sincere thoughts and prayers are with Joan and the entire family. Rest easy, Matt...
There is an expression that people from the old neighborhood in Brooklyn would understand. "Matty was like a piece of bread," He will be truly missed!
