Condolences
I am so very sad to have found this. My brother recently inspired me to reach out to someone who affected me in a positive way while I was growing up and so I did a search for Sue. Sue taught me how to ride my pony when I was 9 years old, 40+ years ago. She was so patient and so very kind and sweet to me and I thought the absolute world of her. I couldn't wait for her visit and I loved how she showed up barefoot, just the coolest. She was beautiful and kind and told me I was her best student hahaa I probably wasn't but she filled me with confidence. I'll never forget her. Bless your heart, Sue, and thank you for some of the best times of my life❤️ Rest in peace.
4 years later and I still miss my friend. :-(
We are so saddened to learn of Sues passing. She was an incredible spirit. We thought so highly of her, and used to have her over our house training our horses for years. We haven't seen her in a long time like to find out she's gone is heartbreaking. She was an incredibly great friend a beautiful spirit totally Irreplaceable. I wish I knew what happened to you.
You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace all our love Alan & Bevqqaf7
I remember the first time I met Sue with her Great Dane, Elwood. She lived in the apartment across from mine in Bradley Beach. I came home from work, walked into the front hallway, and all I could see were two beady red eyes coming toward me. Ellwood was growling to be protective of Sue...Sue came out and grabbed his collar, apologizing to me. I said it was fine, and we introduced ourselves. Over the years, we would run into each other and chat. Sue was a woman with a vibrant spirit, a big smile, and always had a good story to tell. My wife and I would always see and hear her out in the neighborhood with one of her Danes, talking to neighbors. She was always so open and friendly, with a huge heart. We loved watching her play with her Danes in the park across the street, usually bare-footed :-) She was one of those people who just exuded life from every pore...she made your day brighter if you had the opportunity to meet her. She loved her animals so much...from what I understand, she was a dedicated teacher and brought her dogs along with her as therapy dogs. We are all more blessed for having the chance to know her in our lifetimes. Heaven became a much brighter place upon her arrival. May your soul rest in eternal peace, Sue. My wife and I will miss you very much. We know you are watching over the spirits of every one of your fine animal friends, wherever they may be. <3
Sue I only have fond memories of you. The last time I saw you, you were full of life laughing and joking about your braids. I read in one of my spiritual books yesterday that heaven is a great big hug that last forever. That's how I want to remember you with that big hug, you gave me and being the beautiful, loving caring selfless person that I knew. I will miss you hope to see you on the other side my AA sister.
Always
RIP Miuntain Dew Sue . I'll always picture you dancing barefoot , hair flowing with your beloved Great Danes at all the festivals. Halloween was an event with the creative costumes you and your Danes wore, whether it was celebrating the spirit of Janis, feather boas and all, or a horse and buggy with one of your beloved huge dogs as the horse! It was a joy to know you. Thank you for your friendship and enduring spirit, and courage, as you faced the challenges of the last few months. What an example you've set for everyone who knew you !
May Susan R.I.P. I met her about 3 years ago near the boardwalk. My condolences to friends and family.
Anyone who had the honor of meeting Sue for five minutes would never forget her. What a special, gentle, pure, and beautiful soul that so many of us loved and looked up to. Heaven has truly gained a very beautiful (inside and out) angel. Rest in peace, Sue....we could never, ever forget you...Not in a million years!
xoxo Sandra
Good-bye Sue ; wish you well on your journey home .
Your calm demeanor with your students and infectious smile is what I will miss the most! Neptune Township School District will greatly miss your passion and dedication to your craft! You were definitely one of a kind. I could always count on you to be there for my hardest to reach students. I know it was hard at the end for you to turn down job offers. You have touched many lives with your positive attitude and ‘can do’ spirit. You will be thought of often and be missed forever. Rest In Peace Sue. Love, Kathy

Sue was such a wonderful soul! One of the first people we met, helped my son learn to read and always had a smile on her face especially when it came to Atticus! So many memories. May her rest be blessed and she be held in love and peace. ❤️❤️❤️
A special friend who gave of herself freely. Her words inspired me to move forward during times of uncertainty. Her honesty will be sorely missed in this world.
Now u are free! My love and prayers are with you and your family. Until we meet again
All of us at The Total Learning Center were deeply saddened to learn about Sue's passing. She had a passion for teaching and truly loved her students and they adored her. She was their cheer leader and taught each of her students to believe in themselves and was excited as they were when her students advanced in the reading program. She bubbled with enthusiasm when she entered the office and particularly enjoyed the students who were most challenging! She will be dearly missed by the students, parents and the staff at The Total Learning Center.
Our thoughts and prayers go out for Mountain Dew Sue, a member of
our Serenity By The Sea Home Group in Bradley Beach.
Sue and Atticus both attended weekly on Sundays & will be sorely missed
by all of us who knew her.
May God bless Sue Fick for the countless people she has helped over the years.
With much love, Kathy
