Condolences
My condolences to Marie’s family and friends. She was a wonderful lady and a fabulous teacher. Marie always did what was best for her students. Even when things didn’t go quite to her liking, she would smile and turn it into a positive. Marie took pride in everything she did, especially when raising her son.
She will be sorely missed. Prayers for her, her husband and son. Rest In Peace

What a loss Marie was a beautiful person loved her may she rest in peace
A truly wonderful and caring person who enjoyed spending time with people. Together, we started the “Literacy Program” in Special Ed and really made a big difference in the lives of many students. You later moved onto teaching math and really knew how to teach and get them to pass their state exams. Your teaching abilities will sorely be missed by many. You truly made a difference in the lives of many. You will be sorely missed.
My heart is broken to hear this sad news. I worked in Social Stidies with her mom Rosemarie. I can’t believe a young caring woman has been taken from her family by cancer. Her Mom was proud and loved her unconditionally. My heartfelt sympathy to her family.
Marie you will be truly missed. I will always remember how much fun you were to hang out with. You were a great teacher. I’ll never forget that Christmas party at The Salty Dog when you surprised me and came to our party, I was so happy to see you! My prayers go out to Al, your son Al and your sister Allison. You and all of your family will be in my prayers!
Marie was a colleague and a dear friend at Fort Hamilton and also a neighbor living up the street off Arden Avenue on Staten Island.
She was a brilliant teacher dedicated to her students.
And Marie was a blast to hang out with. She hosted her Fort Hamilton friends at her home on S.I. Many times wihere we created memories that will stay with all of us for eternity. Our days at the Salty Dog will be memories that will always make us smile when we think of Marie. My heartfelt prayers go out to Al and her son Al as well as her sister Allison.
I worked with Marie for many years & shared a classroom with her.
She was a smart, funny & caring person!
The world is a sadder place without her!
