My deepest condolences and prayers. I was fortunate to work together on several ministries with Pat at Most Holy Redeemer RCC. His many talents and charismatic personality have left an indelible mark on my heart. I will miss him dearly. God grand him eternal rest.
To the Corbitt Family,
I attended St. Francis Seminary with Pat "way back " in the '60's. He was a great friend, a talented athlete, a wonderful musician and a true Christian seminarian. Pat was the one who inspired me to take up playing guitar. The last time I saw him at a gathering of all the former seminarians at St. Francis, we spent some time playing guitar and ukulele and singing some of the old folk songs we knew. It took me back to a very special time in my life with a very special friend. We continued to email each other and I know he had more projects in the fire. What a talented and versatile man he was !
I will miss him more than I can say. I'm sure that he's with Our Lord Jesus and St. Francis. And I'll bet he's managed to get ahold of a guitar too. It's only fitting.
I have a copy of " The Singing Friars " record which I cherish and I know all the songs. The next time I play out with my friends, I'll sing one of the songs in his honor.
Again, my sincerest condolences on the loss of a great man and true friend.

I never forgot you in spite of our long absence in communicating. I see you used all your God given gifts of many talents; Love, Compassion, music, and you will be a director and creative leader in Heaven. Rest in Peace, my brother. Friar Peter Biskup.
To the Corbitt Family
Sharing in your sadness as we remember Pat. "...absence of the body is to be present with he LORD..." Cherish the memories.
No One Person can fill his shoes. Talented and helpful in so many ways.
With prayers that the "peace of God which is beyond all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus" and be a consolation to all of Pat's family.
Our deepest condolences to Carole and Pat's family. Pat was a big help to me as a Lector at MHR. Always there to answer questions and guide. I will truly miss our chats at the 8 a.m. mass on Sundays. May you rest peacefully in Jesus' arms.
I can’t even pretend to have words that suffice for describing Pat and that heart. No words come close to soothing the magnificent loss all of the Corbitts and extended family and friends likely feel right now. My heart has a tear I can feel right now as I am sure I’ll never meet a man with Pats outlook and vibe on living as he contained and carried as he walked in this world. There is some very lucky “other” world right now as pats bigness could never be extinguished. The only comfort I’m finding since I got this news is something a very dear teacher said to me years ago- “death was like taking off a tight shoe.” That doesn’t heal but it does stop the burning a little. Cathy and Chris who I’ve known for years and years.... girls, I am so so sorry for you, your brother and your mamas great loss. If there is anything I can do from out here in CA please please call on me. I love you all. Katrina Chester

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I met Pat when I was a teenager. I had the privilege of going to New Jersey for a few days so he could show me computer animation at his office ! He welcomed me with open arms and showed me how stuff he did worked on computers and how they put it into film! He was and will always be a great memory and moment in my life. Thank you Pat for showing me a small part of your big world !! May you rest in peace and fly High over all you love watching over them.
With love and forever grateful ,

Pat was and extraordinary person. He lived life to the fullest, accomplishing so much
most of us only dream of. I know you are proud of him. Deepest sympathy to all who knew and loved him.
Our love and thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing.
Pat, you always epitomized the essence of the words "kindness" and "generosity." Your passion for the process of writing was always evident whenever you generously gave your time to my students. You would welcome having my middle schoolers & college students alike share both their ideas and their work with you. Whenever I would be fortunate enough to spend a little bit of time with you, you would always find numerous ways to encourage me. Despite your tremendous knowledge base and accomplishments, you always minimized these. You preferred instead to follow Alex Haley's advice to "Find the good, and praise it." Pat, you have left a legacy that will live forever. Every one of us whose life has been touched by you is better for the experience. We shall hold those memories of you close to our hearts. May you be actively involved with the creation of a video and a technology device that help those who are newly-deceased in their transition from Earth to heaven. May your warm smile and keen wit enhance heaven with the same brilliance and generosity with which you have enhanced every one of our lives.
I am so sorry for your loss! He was a great man , father and friend. I will always remember him and how nice he was to me during my years in soccer !!
Our deepest condolences to the Corbitt family. I remember Pat from gymnastics when our daughters Meghan and Melissa met. I had brief conversations with him when he picked up Meg. I enjoyed reading the obituary, what a special man RIP
