Obituary of Teresa Lebovits
Teresa Lebovits, 41, of Freehold Township passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and settled in Freehold Township in 2016. Teresa received her Master’s Degree in Math Education from Brooklyn College and worked as a 9th grade math teacher at Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn for 19 years. Teresa loved to exercise and along with her husband, she was the boss at CFDA in Freehold Township. She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold and enjoyed cooking, baking, and retail therapy.
Teresa was predeceased by her father, Francesco Fischetti. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Matthew Lebovits of Freehold Township; children, Abby, Madison and Cody; mother, Rosemarie Fischetti of Freehold Township; brother, Salvatore Fischetti and his wife, Christine of Queens; father in-law and mother in-law, Sam and Rita Lebovits of Jackson; niece, Isabella; and nephew, Andrew.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, May 30, 2019 and Friday, May 31, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
