Obituary of Alan Braverman
Alan Braverman, 75, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Manorcare Health, Boca Raton. He was born in the Bronx, raised on Long Island, and had lived in Freehold for 45 years before moving to Delray Beach four years ago. Alan was an entrepreneur, a successful businessman, and a sports and food connoisseur. He was an avid New York Yankees and Syracuse University fan. Alan enjoyed his time coaching little league for his children and loved his grandchildren dearly.
Alan was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Marion Braverman. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mardee Braverman of Freehold; children, Chad Braverman and his wife, Stephanie of Freehold, Jeremy Braverman and his wife, Wendy of Manalapan, and Heather Goldstein and her husband, Rich of Delray Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Lia, Carly, Abby, Emma, Jessi, Jolie, and Oliver; and sisters, Helene Hendrickson and her husband, Vincent of Los Angeles, California and Susan Braverman of Arizona.
A funeral service will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to sit Shiva on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM and Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
