Condolences
Sending my sincere sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time.
You are already missed, Rich. But you will always be alive in our hearts and the subject of stories around the ROMEO table.
I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of Rich. Rich was one of my favorite firefighters in GRFD. He had a great sence of humor and was always fun to be with. I can remember going shopping with Rich in Paterson at an Italian deli and when he left there wasn’t much left in the deli.
Rich was alway clear and cool headed in the middle of a fire when chaos was breaking out. Rich set a great example for young firefighters to follow, and how to be a man, husband and father. He will be missed.
My deepest sympathy to the Baudo family, especially Maryanne whom I adore so much during the pass 11 years. Mary Singletary
I will always be grateful to this wonderful man for looking out for my son, his son in law, welcoming him into his family and being a dad to him across the pond. I am happy that I saw Richard on my last visit and as always was welcomed. I send you all my heartfelt condolences no words can express the sadness I feel for you all. His family were the world to him, he was so proud of you all. Love to you all.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Always such a wonderful guy to all of us.
I send my deepest sympathy to the entire family but especially MaryAnn who I know from BCC. I know how much he meant to her and the entire family. Please find peace in the wonderful memories you have of him. I wish you all peace during this unexpected and difficult time.
To the Baudo family,
I am saddened by the news of his passing. I was a colleague of Rich at S&P for many years. I have such great respect for him. He is in my thoughts and prayers. My sincerest sympathies,
Mary
To the Baudo family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Rich for many years. He was such a pleasure to work with and he filled my days with fun and friendship. Rich was plain old good people and he cared so much about his family, colleagues and friends. Everyone could always count on Rich. He will be missed by many of the people he touched throughout his life.

I remember the Baudos with such fond memories. You were all so close, and it was very evident to everyone in Coleman School. That bond had to be fostered by your loving parents. God bless you as you go through this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. What a beautiful family!

Dear Baudo Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. Please accept our sincere
condolences.
Hopefully, there's a "Grad Ball" he can work on in Heaven!!!!
Sincerely,

Our deepest condolences to the Baudo Family. Our hearts are broken. We will miss Mr. Baudo’s many visits to Chicago, his kindness, and his many jokes. He was a great role model to many, especially his son and my brother-law, Rich. He was a great man who clearly adored his family and was always willing to help out whenever he could. I’ll always remember the time when he came to Chicago to babysit Nolan and Parker and graciously volunteered to drive them and my daughter,Avery, to school. One morning he opened the door at 7am to get Avery, and looking beyond exhausted, he was eager to share with me that Parker (and I quote) “had burrowed a hole” in his t-shirt the previous night as he attempted to put his grandson to bed. I still laugh picturing him telling me the story! He was a great man who will be deeply missed but we will hold him in our hearts forever.❤️
Goodbye to the man I worked with for 25 years,
Goodbye to the man I came to truly respect and trust,
Goodbye to the man who looked out for the future of my career,
Goodbye to the man who pushed me to further my education,
Goodbye to the man who treated me like family,
Goodbye to the man who loved & served his country,
Goodbye to the man who valued life, family and friends,
Goodbye and thank you Rich for being the kind and caring person you were to me and others. I love you, respect you and will miss you dearly. May God bless you and may you rest in peace.
Words can’t describe how sad we both are. My sister married a gem. He was our big brother. He said our house inWaldwick was a money pit but there he was painting and putting in a kitchen and a deck and windows in the freezing cold. I can’t go anywhere in my house that he did not touch. We are going to miss him tremendously. We will cherish all the memories he made with us. God speed Richard. Forever Uncle Dickie to all who loved him
I am so very shocked and saddened by your loss. I cried when i read about Mr. Baudo. It is such a great loss and he was such a wonderful memory in my childhood.
What a shock and what a loss. Can't tell you how often we talk about the Long Beach Island vacations and Rich sleeping in the tub to escape the heat and our nightmare boat trip in the fog around the island. The world has lost a great man. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
To the Baudo Family -
Rich and I worked together for many years, he was a wonderful man. He was well-respected and admired for his demeanor and work ethic. He was a gentle and kind man who always had a smile and often funny commentary as he went about the tasks at hand. Through his actions and desk pictures, it was easy to see that he loved his family. He spoke often of each of you and your successes, he was so proud! Any conversation that I have had with Rich over the last years was centered on his happiness in retirement simply because he loved the extra time that he was afforded to spend with you all. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
Maryann and family,
It is difficult to express how saddened we were to hear the news of your beloved Richard’s passing. We are praying that you can find the strength to carry on in his absence and know how difficult it will be. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace. I myself will always remember the kind, funny and selfless man he was. A loving family man and genuine patriarch. His loss will be far reaching.
Deepest condolences.
